Hey all,

So i couldn't find a proper device id like the old vodafones have, as I said it's a "Vodafone R216-z" mobile wifi router.

The device has been working perfectly well aside from being touchy about signal strength, but i just live in a crap area, until the other day.
I use a vodacom sim primarily, the contract one that came with the router. I also use an axxess sim with more data.

Prior to the other day either sim worked perfectly fine in the router, then i ran out of data on my voda sim and stuck in the axxess one, and for some reason as soon as i try and do anything online, that requires a bit of data atleast, like a mb, the router restarts.

I've since tried another sim in that router, which worked fine and tried the axxess sim in our old r205 and that worked fine.
The axxess sim is a nano-sim(?) in the normal simcard(pops out). I don't have another nano/normal sim nor a different axxess sim to test with.

Gonna call axxess later, but can anyone suggest anything?

TGIF! Have a great weekend!

It was working before swaping SIM cards, it suggests that there is a poor SIM contact which cause reboot. There is typical problem with SIM's with multi-cuts that nano-micro part pops out giving poor contact. I found that a thin glue tape fix the problem if you apply it on the printed side of the SIM holder.
