No, you cannot enter coordinates with the Vodafone SatNav software. Sucks @ss if you ask me!
I have tried registering on the telmap site, but it says user not found or something. It may be because I am testing a Beta Version.
I am on MTN and using Garmap for mobile, but also downloaded the Beta version of Telmap to try/test.
I registered and downloaded the app version 4.65 build 06
This app is FREE and in Beta state, but not to sound ungrateful, it seems very very basic.
It is annoying to wait for it at each startup to get Traffic information (which is not supported in SA)
Maps are as basic as it gets, very little info on the screen, the sound was too low, no option to adjust volume, and sounded as if the person was speaking underwater.
Even used the hardware volume on right side of phone, still not very loud or clear.
There is no version for the BlackBerry 9520 so had to use the 9500 version, so not sure if this caused my findings above.
Funny thing is that the Garmap for mobile also only has a 9500 version and it is fine.
Once it is running though, it does the job of getting you where you want to be, but recalculating a route is as slow as molasses.
These were my initial impressions but it probably needs more time for development.
Unfortunately, I do not have the time or the patience right now, so will wait for a new version to appear and re-look at it then.
