Looks like my license for the Vodacom Satnav software has expired - do I really have to pay for it now that my two years are up, or am I missing something?
[-]When I try that there's only a link for the 9800, and no mention of pricing.Yes , you would need to purchase the service via vlive.
I'm waiting until the new bold surfaces later this year. As for Android - you should know better than to suggest that.Yip. Vodacom offers two year free nav as this is the period of your contract. Upgrade time meneer...YAY!
Or perhaps consider a Android...now comes with free Google Nav...FOREVER! May I suggest the Motorola Defy? hehe
Was worth a shot *sigh*[-]

It looks like a lifetime of TomTom for the iPhone will cost me less than a year's subscription to Satnav.
Thanks, it looks . . . interesting.OH bwana. I just remembered. There is a free Nav application that you can try. Do a search for "Waze" in app world. It is community driven though so some areas might not be mapped as yet. It is free though so perhaps give that a try and see if you like it.
That's nice. After playing with a BB torch today... I can't understand how these users can torchure themselves with it.... Worst menu system and user experience ever. My desire z is awesome and light years ahead of the stupid torch.

If you get a new blackberry that has GPS, does that device come with its own vodafone gps licence for 24 months ?
