Any guys who use the vodamail on vodacom4me.co.za, and with sms notification on receipt of new e-mail?
I setup my boet's new laptop after registering for the vodamail account, so he can get e-mails on laptop.
also, he is a new, casual mail user, so setup the sms notification option to send him sms when there is new e-mail, so he knows when there's mail, then he can download mail.
it used to work fine now for about a month... he receives sms on cellula, that there is new mail, from, and subject.
now yesterday, he started getting sms with notice new mail, subject, and also "Open mail"... so now he thinks mail is going to the phone instead of laptop.
I don't use the sms notice option as I check my mails regularly anyway, so I don't know exactly what the sms looks like (he is in another town), but it sounds to me like, now the sms notice no longer just gives notice of a new e-mail, but ALSO, now, a WAP link to directly check the mail?
When did this start happening?
As it happens, he fiddled with settings on laptop, so now mails on laptop is not received... "error" so he is convinced he 'made' mails go to phone instead of lappie.
But ... DID the VC sms notice change?
