I'm having difficulty forwarding mail from vodamail.co.za. Anyone else got a similar problem or who can help with the problem? Vodacom say phone 155. Nuff said!

I have never been able to get my mail downloaded to my PC, so forwarding is probably another feature that doesn't work too well.

I used to be able to get my mail downloaded. I disconnected because of the weight of spam being received. Now I want to forward any sensible messages and what do I get- not possible at the moment (for about a week) and the runaround from Vodacom e-mail advisory service!

v3g, what exactly is your job description? Does Vodacom pay you to answer question on this thread? Are there similair blogs dealing with these issues?

General handyman, yes, not that I'm aware of. We are working on a self-help knowledge base.

Why do you ask?

Just curious. You seem to spend a lot of time here so i figured I'd ask...

On and off, probably around 18 hours per day, 7 days per week.....

It's not a replacement for official Vodacom support, which will always be 111 / 155, but I try and help where-ever I can.

Also, I try and not get involved in "non-broadband" issues, like contract details and mobile phones, etc. Mostly because I know very little about them....:)

Anything else, "data" related, I'll try and help, so bring it on!

v3G,

Try to forward, get "we are currently experiencing problems servicing your request. Please try again later" . Now I can handle that occasionally but every time I log in for a week - particularly when I must spend my time wading through spam!

Hmm..not good. Won't you write me a complete mail with the whole story, something I can forward directly? And please include a mail, I can copy you on.
