Just when I thought Cell C couldn't get any worse it now seems their voicemail number/system is broken this morning.
I have a couple of voice messages I wanted to check and when I dial 144, instead of being directed to my voicemail I end up at what seems to be the Cell C Call Center?! I hear the usual Cell C "hold" tune and then someone on the other end answers the call but when I speak they can't hear me and hence drop the call. I'm then put through to the "rate our service" prompt.
I decided to actually contact the Call Center and query the issue and according to the agent they're not experiencing any problems (surprise, surprise
) and the agent tells me I need to "hard-reset" my phone and that I must take out the battery for 5 MINUTES and try again. REALLY?! How exactly can the fault be with my phone when the number I call goes to the wrong f**king place? Nevertheless I humored the agent, ripped my phone open and removed the battery but as expected nothing changed.
WTF is going on?!
Anyone else having similar issues?
