VOIP on Nokia N82

I dont know exactly what VOIP is all i know you can make calls over the net. Can sum1 please explain to me how to go about using it on my Nokia N82 and do i need to setup anything on my router? Also does it eat a lot my MB or not?

First things first, you need to get a SIP VOIP provider, this is the system that your phone will connect to over the internet to access voice services. If you are just wanting to do outbound calls then I recommend www.12voip.com if you want incoming calls as well then take a look at www.telfree.co.za

Then you configure the software on your phone, you can use the following instructions as a bases http://www.voipvoip.com/nokia-n82/

You will need to change the settings to match the settings your VOIP provider has given you.

What are the GPRS charges though? Ive been using it thru wifi now. Also, whats the subsription to make calls to cellphones?
