Voip vs Telkom

Hi Guys

I have a problem here. We are setting up a call center. The infrastructure is as follows:
1. One Pbx where a Telkom ISDN line is connected to (PBX has the FXO Module)
2. We have one reception phone plus six extensions
3. The internet has been split into data and voice each on 4 mbps

We recently found out that when you convert the telkom line into a digital line, we realized that we cannot make two calls at the same time and Telkom told us that it is because we have one line.

Here is my question:
If we divert the number to a VOIP number (Our Voip number has three channels) will more than one person be able to get call at the same time

Your post doesn't make a lot of sense.

1) FXO module is needed for Analogue lines (POTS). If you have an ISDN line you will need to attach it to an ISDN capable port on your PBX.
2) 1 ISDN line supports 2 concurrent calls. So either you still have 1 analogue line plugged into your PBX (or even the analogue portion of the ISDN if you have ISDN2a), your PBX is configured incorrectly for ISDN, or there is some fault on your Telkom ISDN line.
3) If you have 2 ADSL lines then you could use the analogue portion on both to make and receive calls as well (if you have enough ports in your PBX). Just not sure if Telkom can do hunting on analogue lines.

I primarily use VOIP from Vox Telecom at my Joburg office. There are 11 staff there and half the time the system is off and we cannot make or receive calls. It's running on a Telekom ADSL line.

I'm almost at breaking point and considering Telekom again.
