Good day Guys.

I just want to know if it's possible to run VOIP on a 512kps ADSL telkom line that is currently being used for both calls and internet.

Please advice ASAP. if you do not mind you can call me on 0848396431 after 3 will be the sutable time to call me. i need th advise ASAP.

Yes it is possible, just get a VOIP router

or just get the software for VOIP, unless your trying to run a VOIP machine to handle all call routing etc..
512 will work, obviously the more calls the worse the signal..

I use vox telecom VOIP (+27 87 number) on my ADSL 384Kbps and there is no delay at all it's like using a regular telephone landline.

PS - pretty cool to use vox as their handset can be used to receive the telkom line calls as well as the vox line calls and you can dial out using the normal phone line if you prefix the number with *9. useful for people who work from home and don't want their home number as their office number
