Voting on 3 August - What problems did you experience?

So, the funniest problem I saw today was the ANC supporters club in our area.

The day started off well, sunshine and blue skies,

Out came the gazebo, the posters, the balloons and the dishrags ... er T shirts.

Come 17h00, the wind came up. The gazebo launched off, so they chased this, But then the posters flew off, so they chased these, so the dish rags blew away, so they chsed these, meantime the gazebo blew away so they held it down while the posters blew away ..... the balloons ... well they just vanished.

Soon after this, the ANC guys ..... now not so happy that they had provided the DA with free entertainment decided to pack up and left 3 cadres and 2l coke sitting on the pavement

Classic fun to keep me entertained.

Pretty painless here.

One Pokémon Incense from start to finish.

Picked up a random ID In the road and managed to get hold of the chick via Facebook so she could vote.

No idea. Asked the same thing and the smartass response was "when the voting ends" or something. Obvious, but once voting ends they need to count them. I'm guessing tomorrow morning?

If i remember correctly from last one, late night Wednesday, early morning Thursaday results start trickling in until late Thursday.

None, arrived at 15:30 left at 15:55.

None really, besides for some annoying lady who first said I have been already (based on my name alone) and then that I do not look like my photo in my ID. I wasn't sure if she was taking the piss or serious.

Besides for that I was in and out in 5 minutes.

The one I went to was at Randpark Primary School, on Boekenhout Ave.

Thanks. We will be going to the next registration weekend to move closer to home. Right now we are voting miles from we live. Said ^ school is much closer to home than Boskop.

No issues personaly other than standing in a queue for an hour and a half, apparently my idea of going after 6pm wasn't that great this year. On the plus side I went on my motorcycle so I stayed quite warm and comfy in all my bike gear, even in the cold.

One of my sisters though was unable to vote as apparently she wasn't on the list, no idea what happened as she has only voted there in the past.

My station was way busier than I've ever seen it. The queue just got longer and longer as the day went on. Committed finally at 6pm and got out at 8.
