Voting?

And the only forces of change are those that vote in elections with no possible positive outcome... right, ok.
Look at the biggest changes that have happened in the world - none of them were through voting for anyone.
All were through protest of some form or another

Let's talk again after we see how much ground the DA has won in the next election. ;)

And we can all clearly see the benefits from your protest... good job! You have a total of one person including yourself listening to your demands...

While my vote within the ranks of my organisation affords me the benefit of shaping the policy of this nation, a policy that you will end up with but that's okay I don't mind deciding yours and your families future.

Well, if there was an organization which I thought was capable of making a positive difference I would do the same.

If your organisation shapes the policy of this nation, including me and my families future, and things turn out incredibly badly for us all, as they inevitably will with the policies your organisation has, I hope you also will be willing to take responsibility for the mess you create.

I will most definitely accept ownership of my multimillion rand home, car and clothes paid for by yours, your families and friends taxes, while everyone you know and love, lives in fear of rape, murder and theft, you after all let me make the decision for you... thank you!

ANC has the best policies of the lot but they are currently rotten at the top - corrupt and incompetent.
The day Mbeki was ousted in what amounts to an internal coup was the day they lost all credibility, imo

Mbeki's ousting was by no means a coup. He was first voted out in an open, fair and democratic voting process. The NEC as the highest decision making body of the ANC has the mandate given by the voters to deploy, redeploy, recall cadres. Mbeki was not the first cadre to be recalled either. The likes of Mosioa Lekota were once recalled from being premier of Free State in the 90's and redeployed in the NCOP.

ANC or Nothing.

Will not waste my time voting for other small parties.

You aren't alone. Imagine the impact if you and a couple of million like you actually voted for change though.

If you vote ANC, or don't vote at all, you are responsible for the destruction of SA.

Once again, if the majority refused to vote as a form of protest it would throw the system into crises, nobody could claim to be a legitimate government and changes would need to be made. Or even better, if the majority spoiled their vote then the new government would be the spoiled vote party! I'm not going to be bullied into voting for a party whose policies I fundamentally disagree with and neither will I be bullied into voting for a party I know to be corrupt - I only hope more people will realise you do not have to vote just for the sake of voting - if there is a party that represents your interests by all means, vote for them, but if not, don't feel pressurised to vote just because it's the way things are and just accept it.

All it takes is for one person to vote. There is nothing that says people have to vote. Nothing that says we need at least x amount of registered voters to vote. Just one vote.

Err... The NEC is an ANC body and has nothing to do with voters. It has to do with ANC members. That's all.
