As far as I know he found it via a google search, but could have been through OLX (he was looking for bargains)

The best thing one can do is promote the real dealers like takealot, kalahari, wootware etc to only name a few.
Or the likes of http://www.pricecheck.co.za/ and only buy from trusted dealers.
