I'm looking to try out a 4mbit uncapped account for a month to see if it matches with my usage. Does anyone know their cancellation policy as I'm struggling to find any info?

Who has the best cancellation policy for IS star accounts? Don't want to sign up with WA thanks to the 2 month thing.

Vox has a 1 month cancellation notice requirement, same as most.

Incredible connection's uncapped accounts are IS based with star rating, and you only have to cancel before the 25th of the same month.

I'm actually curious about how the cancellation policy works, I signed up yesterday for a 50 gig fat pipe, tested it, found that its the same as a WA home capped account so sent cancellation through. Today they killed my account completely after just 2 gigs out of 50 gigs use. Havnt had anything on my credit card show yet.

If I read their terms correctly (I may not have since they drown you in a lot of boring text) I'd say it's 20 days notice. They do mention something about forfeiting data though.

My cap went from 50 gig to 2 gig upon cancellation ( had only used 1.3)

Plugg and Connection.co.za are cancel before the 25th. I'm not sure about Vox, but what Kinza says is encouraging :)

I hate 30 day policies, so unnecessary and borderlines on entrapment.

If you you auto pay with credit card then you can actually cancel 1 day before the account is renewed and it won't charge you card. Debit order might be another story.

@OP you might be better off with a connection uncapped account because no setup fee and easy cancelation.

Thanks, good to know :)

Apologies for the thread necro. Can cancellation be done via their web interface? Or must it be done telephonically?
