I recently reset my mikrotik router received from vox on a fibre network to have a bit more freedom for simple queues and so forth. What I have noticed is after setting up the router, and hiding my mac adress and ip adress, I see a long list of neighbours on the network. This causes my 50 Meg line to perform at about 3 mbps. Strangely enough if I connect an old Huawei router, all seems fine. I really want to use the mikrotik as it is a gigabit router and there is much more you can do on a mikrotik router. I have thought about asking vox for a file to reload the router, but that defeats the point of what I want to achieve. Is there someone on the forum who maybe knows what the setup for the router must be?

The WiFi is disabled in the microtik. The username and password to log into the mikrotik is also changed from the generic one, and my ip and mac address hidden so no one can search it
