Vox online orders not automatic, person must process

Dear All,

To void disappointment or being force to buy double data packages from someone else.
Do note, when ordering DSL data from VOX a human being must process this order.
Example here:
Vox Fat Pipe Home ADSL, 600GB @ R499 / month, order was placed last night, must wait till presumably Monday till order is processed.
Orders are processed during normal working hours.
This for an existing client with other Vox services for a few years.
=> "WebChat support" confirmed this +- 10 minutes past.

Can this be true in the year 2018?
Other ISPs like WebAfrica and Afrihost, the product, DSL data, is available in minutes.
 
Is this a new account? Afrihost has the same, need to manually process as they need to check the identification.
I swapped packages in regards to upgrading from 200-300GB and it was instant, same on Afrihost one account was already approved.

Should be the same with every ISP.
Rica stipulates that the ISPs must personally verify the documents that their customers are required to submit before a service can be activated.

That's quite weird considering for me it was an instant upgrade, but that's just the product changing rather than a new product.
What service are you applying for? Are you getting a fiber product on e.g. Vumatel? Could be Vumatel shop is not tied in with Vox's system, so manual transfer/process.

The purpose of me posting was to:
a. Make others aware this takes time. Buy when it is office hours with enough time.
b. Confirm I am not the only person with issue.
I did same procedure with WebAfrica and Afrihost dating back many years. I can log into portal with account and buy data package and it will be available in minutes.

Alerted them a year ago, they claimed bug in the system and will be fixed in day or two. NOT!!
 
Confirmed in Vox web chat support Monday 2018/09/17 1140.
There is no means to check the state of an order placed.

You must email Vox.

But hmm, I contacted your support on Saturday and asked when this service will be available.
- Vox support told me in writing on Saturday, wait till Monday, the order will be processed then.
- Now on Monday Vox sales support in writing tells me the service was active, you have to email persons to obtain the logon details.
- There is no way to check the state of an order you place.

Be very careful if you want to deal with this company.

Shameful.
