Is there any one that signed up with Vox FTTh package ?
I am looking for
1. a review of the Vobi softphone
2. a review of the capped vs uncapped packages
3. Any other advice /opinions etc.

Thanks

I am using Vox but with Fiberhoods, also got the phone with the 1Gb mobile data sim included.
It has been a love/hate relationship because I get quiet alot of DNS issues with Vox so unless you manually set your dns to google you will good.

They gave me a mikrotik router which I hate, I am experienced in IT but its waaay to complex to do simple features ie.. change your NAT setting or Open a port.

Lately pings have been really bad.. got increase of 80ms to EU servers so gaming been bad. Local been fine

I placed my order on 30 Jan
I have called sales, support, technical desk, complaints.

After quote was confirmed and accepted by me, the sales agent lost interest immediately.

No one can give a date?

Anyone got a contact at Vox that can tell me when my line will be scheduled for installation?

We Also ordered Fibre for my business
A year later its not even lit up. should of been installed in November of last year.
we in Feb 2017 and "Crickets"
service is rather questionable with VOX.

go BITCO if you can

From 2 weeks ago ive been on 100/10 pro uncapped, and yea its been a revelation for me haha
Coming from a 4m ADSL, speeds and stability more than satisfied :)

Vobi phone, i do have the package but mot the base phone, i instead use the app for my phone and besides the slight delay it works perfect.....
Also managed to connect my sim data last night, which i run through a portable 3g router and all there works perfect as well :)

As for the internet, i can stream, download and online gaming all the same time (bear in mind i did set my apps to share bandwidth accordingly......
Ive only had fibre for 2 weeks now, but yea im a happy chappy......

Order placed on 30jan17
Finally connected on 16feb17

The issue was that someone else (another customer) had use my object number and activated a service on it.
As the result , I could not activate the service.

The router is a mikrotik haplite. It has 2ghz and 5ghz wifi. Very weak signal strength. It doesn't have aerials like my tplink and netgear.

Speedtest results seems okay. Let's see.

Vox customer services is not good at all

I called and asked for the dhcp IP address range on my LAN.

The person couldn't answer after 15 minutes. I dropped the call and logged a ticket

Why would you waste your time calling when you can just look it up on the router in 30 seconds?

Because Vox doesn't give the login and password to the router.

I have to complete a form with terms and conditions to get the login and password.

If you know of a way that I can get access to he router, let me know via PM.

Ah ok I see, since it's on Vumatel's network wouldn't a factory reset work as you could use the default login details, or is there some special configuration VOX put on there?
