Vox Telecom planning their own uncapped ADSL service

This is a cool development and it is encouraging to see more ISPs joining the uncapped market. Competition is great!

Hopefully then there would be more and more pressure to do something about the local grid. Would be cool if we could get an "update" article on how the local network is as well as how the fiber networks about everybody was laying is doing.
 
Blaa, its mildly good news i guess, but then when are we going to see some proper good news in the form of a price reduction of some kind? I'm sick of waiting.
 
ISPs need to banish all capped accounts to make uncapped really work. Otherwise all those mom and pops will stay on their 1gig package instead of making uncapped sustainable.
 
As said in another thread, we want to hear Vox launching this service rather than telling us what we already know.

Stop talking and start producing damnit :D.

Good move telling us but an even better move ahead if it was launched. :p

So those people will go from paying R19 to paying between R59 and R738? :wtf:
 
As much as I like the idea of new Uncapped offerings, the fact is, Vox treats home users
like dirt and favours business users.

So to be brutally honest, they can shove their uncapped internet until their customer service
levels improve to a level which is slightly higher than the one we've come to expect from a
company like Cybersmart.

And with that the word "Unsustainable" banished forever from any Telco's vocabulary.
