Since the ability of these companies to provision MTN and provide mobile data I have wondered who provides the best deal and service.

I have been with Afrihost for some time yet I am sure there are more attractive alternatives.

For example, for 1GB, the packages are as follows:

Afrihost - R58 per month
Axxess - R58 per month with 3 month roll over
Vox - R49 per month but has a sucky R99 once off setup fee

Tell me which you use and why ?????

Afrihost is the parent company of Axxess, even though Axxess has a 3 month rollover, where as Afrihost only has 1 month rollover.
If you only buying 1GB then go with Vox (they have 5 x total monthly allocation carry over) but more than 1GB or so and Afrihost gets cheaper per GB, especially when buying by the 100s of GB's.

I have used all 3, I was with Afrihost for many years with very few complaints up and until their mobile voice offering in November last year. Their after sales service is at best disgusting, due to this I have cancelled everything with them so avoid them at all costs. I will be posting a summary of my frustration with Afrihost as soon as I get the time, it is unbelievable.

I am using Axxess now for my mobile data, service to date excellent (Strange as they are somehow involved with Afrihost) and Vox for my ADSL and to date no complaints. Based on my experience Vox all the way.

Cheap is not always the answer, go where you get the best after sales service

I do agree with the last statement, but heck, i have to try save Rands.

I have fax fatpipe and I think its tops

Afrihost host my mail and domains etc but getting a little stale in my opinion, maybe I should go VOX

I use Axxess with rollover. Used to be on AH for a while, but the rollover is great for the months where you need extra data.

Also with Vox, I can only see them delivering you a sim. Axxess and AH you can use an existing MTN contract and prepaid number.
