Vox / vumatel price drop?

Just saw the new lower prices on their website alongside the more expensive ones. Let's hope its not just a glitch.

Mine has both listed as well but my 50/50 is listed as R794.99 and my 1000/200 is listed as R1195.

Are they doing area specific pricing now or something?

I checked a few other addresses in the Free State (Bloemfontein and Kroonstad), they all have the pricing I mentioned above.

In Durban they only have the usual prices.

Contacted Vox and the person told me some areas qualify for this lower price, you have to check your address to see is what I was told.

Vumatel is really the most expensive FNO I have come across. They have build the network in my town, but lots of houses still has not had fiber installed. I have asked around and most of the residents said that it is too expensive. The R1725.00 installation price is ridiculous and then you still have to buy your own router to get started (depending on ISP you choose - sometimes free router) - some ISP offer free installation and connection, but then you have to sign a 2 year contract. They have build fiber in my complex and just 2 have signed up so far. So yeah, the startup price is the huge factor to even consider getting fiber in my town.

Which city/town do you reside in? because i think these low prices only apply to bloemfontein, potchefstroom, polokwane and Vanderbijlpark.
