Opera browser with it's built-in VPN ftw. I haven't subbed to a VPN service since last year...
Opera browser for android also has the VPN feature... just saying, it's worth a shot. This doesn't help when you have a media player attached to your TV.
I have the Getflix app on my phone I add the DNS to all my devices and I change area as required on my App I have US Amazon $2.99 US Netflix R139 and US Sling Blue $15 with no issuesI have a sim card RAIN modem at home and had a Getflix subscription which enabled me to adjust the DNS on my iPad to watch BBC and Amazon Prime but it never allowed for US Netflix.
My Getflix subsciption has ended and I am looking for a new VPN which will allow me to watch BBC, Amazon Prime and US Netflix on my iPad.
Any suggestions?

Those are tunnelling protocols which you use on a VPN - GETFLIX is a smart DNS and you put on the settings manual DNS and the DNS as shown for South Africa and that is it VPN is not necessaryConfirm I can then run the PPTP or L2TP from my router?
What settings do you use on Getflix because I have changed mine to the South African settings and am still not getting US Netflix?Confirm I can then run the PPTP or L2TP from my router?
How do you get BBC iPlayer to work? Even with a VPN the service now requires users to login and have an account with a TV license connected.I have a sim card RAIN modem at home and had a Getflix subscription which enabled me to adjust the DNS on my iPad to watch BBC and Amazon Prime but it never allowed for US Netflix.

Not quite. You need to register and for that you need a post code but after that they rely on the honour system. They don't actually check.

I registered a new account five minutes before my post using an old postcode of mine from about 20 years ago. They weren't interested in an actual license. I tested both live and catchup programming.I tried that nearly a year ago on PC. Only ITV programs would play - none of the BBC stuff. I got a popup asking to connect my TV license.
