Hey all. First post so hope some1 can shed some light

Our company makes use of Nashua Mobile 3G and SIM. Our users then in turn use these devices to connect at home using Alladin Etoken to connect to our compny. For some reason (randomly) users would connect fine and all of the sudden they are not able to connect any more.

Neither Vodacom nor Nashue can say what the issue is

When we test these VPN connectuions at the work premises on the same notebooks (3G cards) and different notebooks all connects fine (but not at the user's premises. Most of the user's are located in Joburg (Brakpan, Kempton area)

Using E220 +latest firmware and VMC software but no luck. My question is !!!

Is their a chance that Nashua, Vodacom are doing upgrades which can affect 3G in such a way that it would in turn affect our VPN connections ?

Please assist as i am out of ideas

Did this problem only start today or yesterday perhaps , as there are network problems in Northern and Southern Gauteng.

Hi.

1st user started experiencing problem last year up untill 4 weeks ago where she could work again. Soon after that the 2nd user started getting the same issue and can now not use VPN (same problem)
I have requested our company to activate a MTN SIM to see if the problem might be with our Vodacom SIM's (at this point i am trying everything)

Can you provide a Number so i can have a look on my side?

3G Card SIM number : XXXXXXXX

Also, i tested again at work today with that SIM and it connects with HSUPA (Cannot ping or trace company VPN) (user is in Boksburg) Cannot connect from home also

Tested with another users laptop and SIM next to the other on and all connects fine (HSDPA). But cannot connect from home. (user is in Kempton)
