Hi guys, I am with Afrihost, please can you recommend a good paid VPN service please. Thanks

I use Proton. Works for my streaming and general anonymity. I pay R124 a month via Google Play and can use it on 8 or 10 devices.

Currently I am only using it on 6 devices.
 
No gaming, just to control my Home Assistant ( Home automation ) and camera browsing from outside.
Also security and want my Tiktok and Netflix to show I am USA etc.

With ProtonVPN I stream on Netflix and Amazon from US. Disney does not work that way.

TikTok US? If you registered from there it will work as US AFAIK. You registered here and it will still see you as from here.

TikTok is frustrating. I used to see a lot of videos from the USA and other countries, but now I only see South African videos, which I mostly hate. So how do you register in the USA, do you have to physically be there ?

I have never used it. I avoid social media platforms. I only participate here.

I guess you can register a new account using a US vpn but don't take my word on that.

If they do get a permanent ban you will be SOL anyway.

There will be no ban, that's for sure—too much money on it and Jobs etc.

Both of these are great. Proton is better with streaming, not sure about TikTok.
 
You can also build a custom plan on Windscribe. Choose two countries. Pay $3 a month, if you don't want to pay too much upfront.

Kaspersky anti virus comes with its own free VPN which you can control, so two for the price of one. It has specific VPN selections for gaming, torrenting, streaming etc. And it also has a "double VPN" so it bounces off two servers around the world.

So for like R500-R600 a year you are getting one of the best anti viruses on the planet as well as a damn good VPN.

this is for your devices such as mobile or Phone not for your router

F-Secure Total comes with Freedome which is the VPN works well can use on American Netflix but there is a chance Netflix picks it up and blocks you.

The list of choices to select is quiet large only use it when a site is blocking my region everything else i use Tor for security if its a dodgy link emailed etc.

I will say Steam doesnt like the VPN just too many issues (currency chances but the amounts dont and i went as far as that.

Its easier to pirate American streaming shows if its region locked to be very honest with you.
As for security to me that provides no security other than not sharing your IP to a server thats about it but it doesnt nessarly block unwanted spam/websites ...the internet security it comes with does though and blocks sites that has been reported suspicious or deemed blacklisted. also comes with banking protection preventing anyone from seeing what you doing while browsing your bank (blocks sites from tracking etc) thats all part of F-secure Total.

That being said many anti virus come with VPN's

you can use free ones but they have their limits.

BTW i just tested netflix and i see a show ive been looking for under the US called Resident Alien... thanks

That is what I like about Proton. It has Netshield which works to block ads and malware and tracking.

Not sure about YouTube ads. I don't use YouTube.

It does block the Video ads on the wife's phone with her games.

Otherwise it work well. Web ads I do not see and no annoying pop-ups that I have an ad blocker active.
