Please clear something up for me.
Is there any speed benefit in using a VPN for torrents?
If your ISP is truly unshaped, uncapped, no FUP etc etc - Is there a benefit in using a VPN besides for anonymity?

Apologies for the newbie question, just trying to understand how this all works.

There’s no benefit besides anonymity.The majority who use VPNs use it due to piracy and copyright laws aka their scared of their ISP reporting their illegal torrents .

Enjoy torrenting those copyright free items .

VPN usually slows torrents down. At least thats my experience.
But VPN has been a great help for me when my isp has international connectivity issues as a local VPN server will bypass my ISP's issues.

I have not noticed any significant speed boosts.
I mostly use it to remain anon.
