We have a friend who stays in a farm. They have Vsat.

Can we connect a Netgear rangemax wireless access point to it? We want the wireless in that room.

Thanks

yip..works 100% - just make sure you disable the DHCP/natting on that netgear - since the VSAT already does distribute that.

Thanks

As this is a client of ours and they want a refund. They say its not a router.

I phoned telkom and they said this access point would work 100 precent. I cant give them a refund if this device is the correct one.

thanks

uh...what did they want initially - a router - or wireless?

the vsat does the routing part , and the netgear the wireless?

unless they have more than 8 pcs on the network - then it might become an issue - vsat doesn't allow for more than 8 ip's..you'll need a proper 2nd router to double nat
