Vuma reach help

This is my first time posting so I'm not sure how this works but I have a question for the community, can ISPs reroute me to a local server for a game basically on EAFC 24 and 25 since last week I've been sent to EU Servers even though we have local servers which I've been on for years the latency is now 200 instead of the usual 15-20 how do I go about getting my isp to fix this
 
While your ISP does have some control over routing, you need to keep in mind that the game client is the one that makes the final call. Your ISP can bend over backwards but if the client does not want to play ball, there is nothing that can be done.

Cannot hurt to reach out to your ISP though, although I suspect that they will want some details from you (if they are even willing to assist). Do you know what the IPs are that you are trying to connect to even?

I don't know the IPs because it isn't publicly available for fifa,I have a call scheduled with my isp today so hopefully there's a fix for this find it abit strange that I've suddenly been sent to the EU server,thanks for your help

Ive also come across this isp that vuma seems to promote on their Twitter https://urbanx.co.za this isp has a ping test on their site which also shows Europe for the eafc server so I wonder what's going on

This could be multiple reasons, one being the host provider has rerouted all local traffic to EU since they have a problem, your ISP could be at fault, there could be local server issues, the matchmaking can't find you games, it really comes down to who the host is and where the traffic is being handed over.

Fifa use to always be handled by a company called i3d and they went through patches where they rerouted all JHB traffic to EU.

If you playing on PC you can connect to a game and then open resource monitor and toggle in the networking tab the application and find the server IP through that. I assume you probably playing on console though since not many play Sports games on PC unless they using a controller.

Hi thank you for the response yeah I am playing on console,I'm with Vuma reach/mweb I have noticed vuma reach having multiple blackouts in JHB(I'm from KZN)this issue started last week alongside the JHB blackouts so maybe Vuma are the ones routing me to EU because of their issues?I've played on Hotspot and it connects me to local servers and my friends from different isps are having no issues so yeah its just my fibre connection thats doing this,

Vuma are only responsible for getting your traffic from your home to a central pickup point.

From the central pickup point your ISP will take over so it will not be Vuma.

Do you have access to a computer or laptop?

Show that test to Mweb since that server 8.8.8.8 is Google which is located in JHB so seems to either be a Vuma reach congestion in the area issue or it's a Mweb issue.

You probably are connecting to JHB your latency is just shocking

They have a call scheduled today so I will show them it,I thought it was jhb servers so I switched off the location matchmaking on fifa and it matched me with people from Belgium and UK,I've also come across a isp vuma is promoting called urban x and on their ping test for eafc it shows Europe 170 so I'm really confused where the issue is coming from
