Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Outside my house I have two of those white boxes. I think it's because I have an outbuilding as well. Is there a chance the installer guys hooked up my fibre through to the line meant for my outbuilding? It's 37 and 37A. These guys did not know which belonged to the main building and said it could be used inter changeably. Is this correct?

Not too sure bud. Just get everyone in your neighborhood to sign up. Its what we had to do with Vuma

2 concrete block walls in between. Im using my own Huawei B618 as a router though, not the ONT device that is provided

I did it myself. Ran an ethernet cable from the ONT to the WAN on the router for now. Im gonna sort out the DMZ later this evening

How long does the process take from ordering to install?

I'm also wanting to go with Afrihost. I'm currently sitting with Telkom ADSL that's barely working.

It took like a week for the whole process.

Granted I did pre order 2-3 weeks before the area went live. But as soon as my went live, they called me and scheduled an installation date for next week (7 Days away). The installation teams rocked up on queue and did their thing and I was running that same evening

Bruh I'm still waiting. Afrinatic did ticket an incomplete install with Vuma for me but no reply from them as yet. Tried contacting them directly as well but no response. So I'm in Limbo now. Disheartening as well as I chowed most of my 100GB ADSL thinking I was sorted for fibre

I'm in Foresthaven. Don't know of anyone else that's got Vuma over here as yet.
