Are you in Lenham?I’m getting tired of waiting for Afrihost, each enquiry for my address says it’s still in preorder stage.
I’ve checked other providers and MWEB, WEB Africa, Home Connect & Fly Cool are showing available service for installation.
Who are you guys using and are there any preferences for the providers I mentioned or should I just wait for Afrihost?

No need for cat 6 cable, but good for future proofing. cat 5e is also overkill but almost standard now.@ADrunkTeddyBear , Thanks for assistance, I purchased the TP Link Mesh system and Switch as recommended, lol now just waiting for Fiber connection. Can you advise or recommend a make/brand of CAT6 cable to use?
Thanks for the update, highly appreciated. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.Good Day All
I am in Lenham, only today the techs were completing the splicing however they have some issues where the feeders were not done, they are currently digging to install that now. The guy says they still need to test the lines as well, so connectivity will only happen in Mid Sept / end Sept.
Thought I will give just give you guys an update.
Just showed interest. I wont mind having a 1Gbit line. It will help my nightly backups for myself and company greatlyHi everyone, I've noticed that a few of us in this thread, while happy that we're getting Vuma Reach, would like to have the option of faster fibre packages. There are also some parts of Phoenix that aren't covered by Vuma Reach at all.
I've been speaking with a rep from Mitsol and they're happy to assist with a push to get their fibre infrastructure in and all around Phoenix, however they need us to show our interest by heading over to https://www.mitsol.co.za/coverage/, checking our coverage and filling in the "Show Your Interest" form. He said they need between 150 - 200 households before they approach the municipality for permission.
Mitsol already has coverage in the country club very close to Phoenix Highway so it's not totally outside the realm of possibility.
If you're interested please fill it in and pass it along so even more people can show their interest. Once enough time has passed I'll check in with the rep again to get the ball rolling.
