Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Around 7pm I was getting around 20mbps down with dodgy latency and high jitter, now its up to around 40mbps and the latency and jitter is back to normal. It does seem like the download is locked at 40mbps but the speed tests burst at over 60mbps initially. Interestingly the upload was a consistent 20mbps the entire time.

It's still more or less the same today. My ping and jitter is perfectly fine, and my upload is still 20Mbps. Just my download being limited:

Still getting 80mb here... could be just certain parts of the network are affected.

Internet traffic will spike over the next two months with all the big game and Netflix releases coming out.

What ISP are you on? I feel like most of us are with Afrihost and this may be an afrihost issue, the way my speed test bursts over 60mbps initially is suspect.

Dev is working on a fix.

Will let you know as soon as the fix has been implemented.
Is this something on vuma's side or an issue with Afrihost?

Been seeing weird spikes from the beginning of the week and teams work calls have become problematic.

Webafrica.

Which area are you guys in? I am in Woodview and think it could be isolated to specific areas/sections of the network.

On Afrihost in Unit 9. Dont know enough about these types of networks, AfriNatic did say their dev is working on fix so thinking it might be Afrihost specific considering you are fine.
