I'm have this issue on Win 10... anything else on wifi get full upload speed

Win 10 pc stays below 4mb and the rest on wifi has 10mb (40/10 with Reach)

Do the following

Open cmd

ipconfig/release
Ipconfig/flushdns
Ipconfig/renew

Then do

netsh int ip reset

Powercycle and check speed again

If still the same open cmd and try

netsh winsock reset

Then reboot

Will give this a go later... thanks!

Strange thing is that I did a fresh Win 10 install to see if it might help but upload stays under 4mb

So I just gave this a try but unfortunately it didn't help. Thanks though.

Is anybody else having slow international speeds tonight?

Very concerning. Anyway probably not going to have fibre on my road until late Feb hopefully these issues are ironed out by then

I did an install with Afrihost for my area Rainham, this guy told me the box is dead and need to get maintenance out to make the line live. So i have logged a call with Afrihost last friday about this and its no use...so anyone have this problem or have a contact in vuma maintenance to sort this out?

Just swapped over to a mesh system. I have 3 routers available. If anyone wants one PM me and we can discuss prices.

To change the wifi name and password manually.

Hi. Is it still OK to change the WIFI name (SSID) and password manually as stated above?

The guy who came to do the activation said that only the password is allowed to be changed and that it had to be done via my ISP. Doesn't seem right, seeing as I could control it all at will previously with ADSL/ ADSL router, why would fibre be different?.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks
