Got an email with the line speed upgrade for the rest of the month, and only get charged for the speed bump from next month....

I am finally live. I went through some 40 pages, I picked up that the ONT/Wifi will only support 8 devices, so I would need to connect another router as AP.

I recall a mention somewhere that afrihost provides ddns service where username makes part of the hostname but I can't find the post. Are ports blocked, and if so can I request to get them unblocked?

Get the AX3 router from Afrihost. It’s amazing for its price. Run it in router mode and DHCP connection

Hi,

The number of wifi devices can be increased when you log into the ONT.

I can request an IP change for you to allow for port forwarding.

What's your speedtest looking like?

I know Afrihost support especially @AfriNatic on the forum is good but is it worth R100 more compared to Webafrica?

Looks like WebAfrica for now and worst case switch back to Afrihost.
