Vumatel connection error - any ideas

My fibre died yesterday afternoon.
I got a blue light and fx light. But no internet connection.
Vumatel and my isp can't see the box, they get a link status question market vs up or down indicator.
If they reset the IP address, I get the new ip on my router. Indicating some connectivity.
I have swapped routers from pfsense box to a netgear router.

Has anybody had a similar situation, what was the problem ? Since the guys at the call centre could just log it once the reset options didn't work.

Possibly something you are aware of but if not. Did you make sure your MAC address did not change at any time between last working and now unable to get a connection ?

If your MAC address is different, you need to contact your ISP to release the old MAC address so that you can get a new DHCP lease with new MAC address. I ran into similar issue and quickly resolved it this way.

ps. Vumatel support cant resolve this, you need to actually phone your ISP you use for fiber account to resolve this.
