Vuze questions

Hey all,

I am a new user of Vuze and the speeds seem to be really slow when downloading. I have set the speed to unlimited but it's still slow like 4 and 5kB/s. I have a 384kb/s line and don't mind letting a download run overnight but this morning only 10% of a 1.3GB file had downloaded.

Also I see that the upload speed seems to be matching the download speed

Any advice or help will be appreciated.

Light weight, less bloated(feature you wont use). False unfortunately for some(fortunate for most), uTorrent FTW.

Agreed use uTorrent 1.85 gives the faster speed on torrents. Almost double
And it is less memory hungry.

It does not matter what you use, if the file you are looking for do not have many people seeding it you will not get good speeds.

FFS, I see I used 1GB already and only got like 25% of the file by this morning. The damn thing is uploading the same amount as I downloaded I think

So now there are differing opinions on what to use

Is there a damn poll/review somewhere that could help me decide to move to another app?

Just try another app but as i said if you use that with a file that has many seeds you may think it is better. Go get another app and load the same file in and see what happens?

I put my upload on 10kbs and download at like 400 . Some go at 400 other go at 20 depending on the amount of seeds, not that i use torrents very much anymore. Annoying when you cannot download things 2 months old at 400k .
