More to this, make sure it is insured at RETAIL Value, that way even if something happens, they will pay you out the same as what the car costs brand new.

If you are buying a high risk car, just ensure you have the best insurance on it to soften the blow if anything happens.

Heck, I insure any car at Retail, just in case.

Under which circumstances was this? I'm willing to be corrected when I'm wrong but as I know you only get that when you bought the car new and it's under one year old, or the retail price at that moment is higher than what you paid.

Retail price was much higher than what I paid. My insurance explained to me it's basically what a dealer would have sold the car for, and when I looked up my model brand new it was pretty much the same as what they paid. May be I got lucky.
