VW Polo Service Km Leeway

Hi, I've got my Polo's 45 000km service coming up soon, but I'm afraid its going to fall over the festive season when I'll be taking it on holiday, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas what kind of leeway VW allows for services? For example how many km's before 45000 can I take it for a service? Or how many km's after 45000 leeway will they give me before I lose my warranty?

Take it to service before the 45000 then. It does not have to be on 45000 exactly. I might be wrong, but I always take my car when it's passed the mark or before the mark by at least 500kms

Also have a VW and its 1000km after the service mark and you need to make arrangements if you want it to be done before the service mark. Try to find out if there is a service station where you are going on holiday and phone them to book your car for a service at their garage! Unless you're going somewhere remote

or even better, service your car just service your car before you go on holiday, that way you have a car that you know is good to go

YOU CAN SERVICE 1000 KM EITHER WAY
advantages of doing it before your holiday is that your car will be running well
some people prefer to do a service after holidays is that you can make notes of what needs attention and when you get back you can ask them to fix it .
my advise is to take it before the holiday

Ford told me its 1500km's either way. But I suppose every manufacturer has different rules.

you could also just service while on holiday. book it in for a day near where you will be staying. if its near a shopping center, you can spend the day with the family there.
