VW Polo won't start when its hot

I had a similar problem recently with my Polo Playa, and a back-yard mechanic advised me to change the cold-start censor. I did, and that was the end of the problem!

I recently experienced a similar problem with my Polo not starting when the engine was hot. A back-yard mech advised me to get a new cold start censor. I changed the censor, and problem disappeared!
 
Sheesh quite a few possible faults for an intermittent problem that happens on hot conditions.

i have been been on google yesterday as well for my Tazz on the same issue. Sometimes after a drive and other times after sitting in the Durban sun. Starts on the turn as well when functioning normally.
 
I had the same problem on my previous Focus(sold it ), I had the starter replaced and the problem was solved.Not saying this will solve your problem but it solved mine.
 
It's normally the crank positioning sensor when this issue arises. It's the sensor in the block that people spoke about earlier.
 
MY monza had the exact same issue. Turned out my battery was on its way out, and when warm the starter needed more power or something to that effect. end result, bought a new battery, problem was sorted.
