VW to But Ferrari

This will probably happen a little less often if VW do indeed take over Ferrari. That being said, I think you'll sooner see the entire population of Italy commit seppuku than see their beloved Ferrari fall under German ownership.

The Italians let go of Ferrari? No way. Alfa Romeo maybe, but Ferrari, not a chance...
 
Just like they wouldn't ever let go of Lambo, and guess what VW have taken the brand and vehicle from strength to strength....
 
hmm I see future Golfs and Audies sitting on Ferrari chassis..or maybe not. VW better be careful not to outgrow themselves.
 
Buying Chrysler would make a lot more sense than hanging onto Ferrari. Ferrari might be cool, shareholders don't care about cool.
