Hi guys,
The VWS are in planning stages of organizing the 2011 VWS Open Day.
Basically, the Open Day is all about showing the general public what the VWS do!
There will be helicopter and firefighting displays
Food stalls
Exhibitions
Fire truck rides
And hopefully yet again; best dressed fire-kid competition
And more...
The day is great for the family and is really alot of fun.
I am in the process of involving Metro EMS this year with a demostration which will be apart of the main displays and I'm very excited about this!
Like I said, we are in planning phase right now, but it is scheduled for the 3rd December 2011 which is a Saturday.
It will probably go as per usual, 9am to 4pm.
VWS is located at the Newlands fire base, off the M3 in Cape Town.
I really hope to see many of you there!
Since this will now form the thread for the event, any changes and such will be posted here so please do watch this space.
Those in Cape Town still probably see us (VWS) handing out flyers and such at robots etc at some point, support us please!
