With the telkom freeze activation happend on 5th/07.

I can only commend Web Africa for there excellent service so far!

Thanks Jannier & DenSweep :D!

@ Splice, sorry about that! Thank you for letting us know though, its the customer feedback that strengthens us further - definitely still a few creases to iron out.

Ok so my Webafrica Titan package is activated. Only problem is it syncs at 4 mb :( I thought I would get atleast 8 mb as my router states attainable speed is 11986 instead of the normal 4096 and I know for a fact we were upgraded to a 12 mb exchange in our area. I will give you guys screenshots when I am home again.

You will only sync to higher speeds around mid August as per telkom.

Could the WA Representative confirm this please.

No need for a WA rep.
The data only packages was sold out long time ago, about 1.5 months ago, you can only sign up for the data complete packages atm.
Hence us all gettting them now as per the thread, we would have taken data only if we all could, less "paper work" :-)

Hi jannier,

I must have been confused then? I recall WA offering Data specials, maybe 3/4 months ago for a limited amount of customers.
Then more recently they offered packages like Titan Data 1, 15Gb for R199 a month. I did not know those were limited too.

Anyway, just thought that was a good package for an average sort of user. :)

Regards,
BTTB.

Going to Necro this thread! You guys also getting higher pings since this SEACOM thing happened or could it be a line problem. WA shouldn't be affected by the SEACOM thing right or are other ISP's maybe redirecting traffic through WA ???
