Hey, it is a "superior" network...

Received the flyer below in my postbox today, most people accepted it as junkmail and it was strewn all over the post office floor.

Maybe they want more business clients - marketing gone bad - it is definitely not the correct way to go about obtaining business clients.

They need to target the IT companies, but it seems this option is nolonger available to them, as they p|ssed-off their resellers.

Other opinions?

Its a shocking good price why isnt it for home users
 
Bad advertising and the wrong channel used...

So far the results we're seeing have been good.
I certainly don't expect it to be effective on every one who receives it.

The product is excellent, and we're spreading the word :)

I will send you a PM instead, as I am hold a very different view and I think anyone that has studied marketing might hold a very different opinion.

LOL, no - especially not when they are supposed to be "superior"

I just hope more users push these ISP's to deliver what their marketing blab promises, as we will end up with a few more Telkom's if we don't do something about it.
 
Whoah Michael, I'm amazed you managed to hold all of that in until just this golden opportunity. (A 10 minute interruption, after business hours).

As of late your posts have increasingly become rude & aggressive towards WA and it's getting a bit tiring to keep hearing you complain and demean WA on MyBB as well as on their own forums to tell the truth.

I understand you wish to give your clients the best possible service and thus demand the best from your provider - just reconsider before posting attacks in future such as the above on public boards as they don't accomplish anything and only leave a bad taste.
 
He started with iBurst and lately it was mweb's uncapped offer, one wonders why he doesn't stick to the Cybetsmart reseller he puunts. I appreciate people giving constructive criticism but it seems like his standards are unrealistically high.

Thanks for the advice Conack, will keep it in mind - However, I can never find poor service acceptable and when it is masked with marketing blab it annoys me...
 
Hey, the flyer says 'platinum quality & better than unshaped' - for that I'd also expect my packets to arrive hand-delivered on a silver platter & individually wrapped in fairy wing offcuts.
 
And now it seems to be down. Line syncs fine. Connection status won't get past "Initialize LCP".
Have reset router several times.

Am I alone with this?
Edit: never mind. Looks like my line is just down, phone not working. Weird, assumed the line was fine when it synced.

Hi Maddmatt,

Would you like for one of our DSL Support Agents to log a line fault at Telkom for this on your behalf?
This would however require that your line is with Web Africa.

Give me a shout if you get stuck :)
