WACS and SAT-3 suffer cable breaks between Congo and Cameroon

One thing to note is Seacom is Registered in Mauritius so there IP blocks ofter appear to be in Mauritius on AFRINIC/look up when traffic isn't necessarily actually going via Mauritius.
As far as I can see it is definitely being routed through Mauritius. (Increased latency on hop #6 and #7)

Last week it was being routed through the USA and back, but then changed to Mauritius.

None of the other networks use international routes for this JHB - JHB mail traffic.

I get line speed on single thread EU RD DL through same browser.

Hmmm I don't have a server in KZN to test with now but this is from a Windows server I have in Teraco JB1. I'm curious what Cloudflare is doing differently compared to us because we got extra capacity to deal with the WACS issue.

Hey everyone, does anyone know what the status is?

I guess the ship should be rounding the horn sometime soon.

Nope, ship is still busy on another repair job on the east coast of Africa

Early September it is expected to be on site, weather depending.

Check how bad mine are on MTN, I can often get 180Mbps down
Im assuming LON is London, what is RBX?
