Waiting and waiting for Telkom

Yet another satisifed customer.
Telkom (spit) has customer centricity down to a fine art.
:p

EXACTLY the same thing happened to me, except I ordered in October. "I'm sorry, this order has been cancelled..." WHAT!??! "...but a new one has been opened"

Look at my sig, is all I can say...

still waiting for Telkom

dont feel alone, I have just tried to get Telkom to remove their ISDN box from my house,
Sheesh what a runaround, Now I wonder if I have to continue paying for the bloody thing untill they take it out or will I stop paying from the cancelation date, should be interesting .
Just went wireless and so far so good and to think as I type this Telkom is nor making one single cent from me..Life is Good

Unfortunately the cellular alternatives are expensive - even compared to telkom. r499 per gb would be reason enough for me to wait. Prices are however better of you go the iBurst/Sentech route.

They did the same with me on the last time I removed ADSL1024. I gave them regular calls and reminded them as well as kept records and recordings of all communication. They have charged me the extra two months and I lodged a dispute, I hammered them and got refunded! They will try their luck! many would just pay and be quiet and Telkoms gets away with it. I did stop using the ADSL service the day I cancelled, I plugged out the modem to be sure tho!

I keep wondering why iBurst advertises that their product is intended for people who can't wait for months for a broadband connection...

My experience: Go iBurst and buy more problems than you can handle! Not a suitable replacement for ADSL.
