Hi
I signed up with CISP (switched from another isp) and was hoping to have my internet access ready seamlessly.
Metrofibre has confirmed the line has been released too.
Can someone from CISP please call me urgently and arrange for the modem to be delivered and my service to be activated ASAP?

Do you have a reference number for me?
 
Update, service has been activated but now I must wait till Monday for the modem to be sent through. Totally UnCOOL.

@PBCool any chance I can collect it myself? Still no news aside from the fact that they have "shipped" it out yesterday.
Really don't want to be without internet another day longer. This is day 2.

Do you not have another router that you could use in the interim? I'm sure CI support would be able to walk you through the setup.

What model/make is it ? And do you have login details to the router ?

Alternatively on MFN you can dialup using a PC using the provided PPPoE details (if it was provided) You can always see this in coolzone.cisp.co.za as well (the PPPoE details).

Is that the ONT, or the router provided by MFN ? Seems like an all-in-one unit. What does the fibre terminate into ?
 
Yea it's an all in one. Gonna give it a spin, not that I know much.
 
Alright, let me know if you need help accessing your PPPoE details. It should be in coolzone under "services".
 
Got the pppoe details but this modem doesn't have anywhere to enter it...

Try using 1.1.1.1 as the dns servers and go to the next steps?

Alternatively try use one of the ethernet ports and dialup from a PC?
