Wallpapers with a twist, help needed

ok, your mission should you choose to accept it:

I am running compiz-fusion on Hardy, so naturally I have a nice cube of a desktop to play with... Now I have set it up to show a different wallpaper on every desktop.

What I would like is either a series of 4 wallpapers which are recognisably related (some sort of theme running through them) or even better 4 wallpapers which lead on to each other, so that when I unfold the desktops side by side they look like one continuous image.

It seems like a good idea which I would have thought would have been very popular but my googling has turned up nothing yet. anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Have a look at the spacedome skydome wallpaper. The dimensions might not suit your desktop well though, but it works great on my skydome, and for multi-desktop, I'd imagine it'd be even better.
