If I look at Sahara prices, a Biostar nVidia GeForce 6600GT with DDR2 goes for R699 ex VAT. the DD3 version is R999 ex VAT.
Granted these are the PCIex (express) versions and u need AGP, but still!

U gotta ask yourself that as well as how long do u want the system to last u in terms of gaming or whatever!
Value for money is my objective when I buy a new system or upgrade something. It can be a lot of info to absorb if u r new to all this, but well worth the rewards to at least be clued up about what it is that u need to build a system that you will be happy with!
