I would love to see them prove that you saw it on facebook. 5 million loopholes...

first they would have to get your ip logs over the last year, then they would have to see every time you went to facebook, then they would have to prove you were on that page, then they would have to prove that you were the person on that page... good luck.

Even then, they would need to prove that your eyes took in the picture. Impossible, without a person saying that they did.

Sjoe, those blind Facebook users are lucky then! So long as the picture wasn't described to them :erm:

There is more to a facebook page than a picture, so unless a person clicked the image specifically, they can't just assume you took in everything on the facebook page, I don't look at every little bit of a webpage. Anyway, it is obvious that people would assume it was staged, I can say that without even seeing it, because it was posted on facebook.
A pic depicting a possible crime could be from a social services awareness program to shock people. It could be from a movie. It could be posed or photoshopped. It could be real, but who says justice has not already been served? It's impossible for the public to know, and impossible for the police to follow up on all possibilities. They don't want us to bug them with every possibility, every person in the country contacting them for every single picture depicting a possible crime that they run into on the internet? Plz..

I don't think you should post peoples names like you did. What are you trying to prove?

They are publically available on the chap's profile. I just posted them to show how many AWB friends he/she had, people were speculating that it was set up by the ANCYL, I disagreed based on who his friends were.

I voted NO. I certainly don't want FB revealing names of people in pictures because of articles that are not based on fact.

There is still a child in the photo, if your privacy is more important to you than the protection of a child then we have a strong difference of opinion.

My point is that someone's life should not be ruined based on an article devoid of facts.

Agreed though this guy should have had the common sense to realise what he was doing would cause a ****storm.

Where do you draw the line then? Do you disagree then with that site that displayed images of suspected looters in the UK riots?

I'm not sure how to answer that other than without prior investigation, the paper should not be creating a witch hunt as it seems to have done.

I am against people posting personal information of others based purely on assumptions, so if that site is posting pictures of people 'suspected' of looting then I'm against it. It's like having a site of suspected rapists yet there is no proof that they committed the crime. Can you imagine the damage to someone's life if their photo is on that site yet they didn't do anything.

Particularly since none of us now the facts yet.
Could be that those people became friends before the page was hacked.

I've not viewed the FB to know if any of the "friends" has signs that would label them as racist.

And you do not think I can create a person that the AWB would like and invite people to my page? ITs easy look at the troll the weekend. I think he ended with 15 usernames.

Is this argument not over as this was a hoax.
Now imagine if we burnt him at the stake last night?

Who are you referring to?

The AWB are inherently racists, no? Support of Nazism etc?
