Wanted: Torches/ 2 Way Radios

Hi Guys

I trust that you are all well. I am part of a neighborhood watch, and we are running low on resources/equipment. We are all volunteers trying to keep the area safe, and to give the kids a place of comfort to play and so on.

Im interested to know, if any of you guys have 2 way radios and/or torches that you might want to get rid of to please inbox me. I know the 2 way radios might need licences etc, but i we technically just need them to use over a short distance. If the radios needs licences then we will have to make a plan. Or if you know of any place that might sell for cheap 2nd hand

Price: not much, most of our members are unemployed and are doing this voluntarily, but we can discuss price.
Shipping or collection. Would prefer locally in Cape Town, but if anywhere else we can discuss.

Wont work unfortunately. We tried Zello, but not all our members can do Zello. Im trying to locate a store that does, to see what we can do.

Yea I would use watsapp/watsapp voice notes then.

There are cheapish 2 way radios available in game's camping section, buy same brand all round and you should be good to go for shortish distances.

Upfront decide which radio's you'll use and stick to it or you'll have a huge headache:- UHF or VHF

Also one should only use radios that can be "stunned" by the controller (disabled/wiped) in case one falls into the wrong hands.
