They have a lot of prices which aren't worth considering, but quite often there are very good deals on Amazon or Newegg, and wantitall will work out cheaper.

The stuff they put on their site is often not what you will want. It's just there for reference, if you find a good deal on e-bay or Amazon then it will be well worth it.

Hi, thanks for pointing that out ;)

Reasons for this can vary, however here are a few things to consider:
1) Price changes on amazon dont always reflect immediately on the site. (The price on amazon.com has already changed since the time of this posting)
2) The exchange rate is not the rate you see on most sites - We are buying $'s, not selling. The exchange rate is usually increased by around 30c per $.
3) The price on wantitall includes: shipping, insurance, clearance fees, VAT.
4) We give you a 100% guarantee you will receive the item

A few of the value adds etc do add to the price, however we feel in most cases the pricing is quite competitive.

Thanks for input - I hope this explains some of the 'process'

Thanks for at least responding. Is there any way you could give that product I posted about above for about R600/700 or so. I mean R300 over and above Amazon's price should be more than enough to cover you guys costs and shipping and whatnot. It's a putoff when the amazon price MORE than doubles when bought through wantitall but I understand it's a tough business.

"A Job Well Done" :D

Never bought online so it was a big risk for me. Could not find much good reviews on "Wantitall" but had to try for that was the only place I could find these specific old games I was looking for.

I placed my order (big amount) and waited in anticipation. The service was excellent from beginning to end. They kept me up to date on the whole process on a more than regular basis.

If ever you dealt with doing imports you would know that it is a process with lots of red tape and even more patience dealing with shipping & customs. Patience is a virtue and necessity, if you don't have such, then don't order stuff online and expect delivery yesterday.

I hear some complain about Wantitall being pricey. Is it really that pricey? Now be honest? If you had to drive out to the store, that be if you could find a local store selling that particular product you are looking for, counting your petrol to and back with the price, would it have been any cheaper?

Worse if you yourself had to import the stuff! Then you would really know what it is to wait for an order.

Taking all of that into account is it really a bad deal?

From the order I placed with Wantitall there was only one game that did not work (not a fault on their part tho). I was worried having to go back to them with the problem as I was not sure about the process involved but went ahead anyway (also a first for me). I was contacted by a good samarathan who arranged for the faulty game to be picked up at my door by their courier service (no extra cost on my part). He also arranged immediate re-order and the game was replaced with delivery to my door, at no extra cost to myself again, and in record time. I stay on a farm a distance outside Rustenburg.

Now that is what I call client service and work pride. As I only found out today when I send them a thank you e-mail, my good samaratan through this whole process was none other than the Wantitall General Manager himself.

If other Managers can learn one thing from him then it be that it's sometimes worth the while to lift your butt off the chair and get your hands dirty. Well done Wantitall !!!

We need more Managers like yourself in South Africa then life will be a pleasure for all !!!

(PS. I also ordered, same time, some games from other places and had troubles from start to finish. I found no joy with them or their courier services.)
