Hi all

Has anyone purchased/dealt with WantItAll? I am considering buying something from them but would just like to see if anyone has had (un)successful dealings with them?

http://www.wantitall.co.za/

Thanks! :)

I've been quite put off buying from Kalahari.net after not getting a reply in over 2 days from the contact form on their website. I also had a look on hellopeter.com - they (Kalahari.net) have SO many complaints from customers.

I used them and ordered and paid and it was supposed to be a christmas present.

I then went on leave and did not hear from them and so emailed them from a internet cafe asking where it is. They said they had dispatched it and in the end the courier company had screwed up.

So in all in all, not a bad experience.

Justin called me a few days later after delivery to confirm I had received and it and I said he should think about using a different courier company.

I think quite a few BB members have ordered through the site - I'm just not sure what names they use on the forum.

We've been working hard to sort out the courier issues, and so far we havent had a single item lost (touch wood). We've done over 1000 orders in the last 3 months, and there havent been many irate customers.

Our problems arise when items get stuck in customs for 4 days, which then throw our 7-15 day delivery schedule out the window ;(

So far many complements, not many complaints - We do however acknowledge the complaints from customers, and go out of our way to resolve issues.

I'm sure if you ask around some people should be able to validate my comments! :)

Even through the courier screwed up I will prob use them again.

How much does the landed price generally end up being relative to the quoted price on Amazon etc?

Its heavily dependant on the weight of the item - you can mail me and one of the sales guys will be able to give you accurate pricing.

Just remember there are some 'hidden' costs like, insurance, VAT, shipping, clearance etc. Ask most people who import items, there are sometimes a lot of hidden costs...and sometimes not, depending on how 'legitimately' you do the import.

Then again, you can ask many people who import items, which never arrive.

We take all the risk and you just get the item. We do charge a bit extra to do this, but we believe in our business model, and are transparent with all our pricing.

I have bought a number of things from them. In fact my wife bought my christmas present (a Geforce 8800 GTS) from wantitall.co.za. So far everything has arrived fairly quickly and in one piece. Plus the prices are very hard to beat.

Pretty disappointed with WantItAll's advertised prices. Take2 aren't exactly the cheapest, but just comparing these two products:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU - Dual Core - Socket 775
Take2: R3163
WantItAll: R3626

Asus Intel P5N32-E SLI Motherboard - Socket 775
Take2: R2469
WantItAll: R3625
