WARCRAFT 3 504t router

ok basically the guys of the internet are joining u on your internet IP 169.xxx.xxx.xxx but the guy off your router is trying to join you from your internal IP ie something like 192.168.xxx.xxx or 10.xxx.xxx.xxx or something like that... They’re 2 different types IPs. (one internal and one internet) (Maybe wrong but that’s how I see it) the game can't host a game that is on the internet and allow local lan PCs to join as well.

Can u host an internet game and have other local lan computers join through the local ips to the internet game? I wouldn't think so... or atleast i have never tried.

I can. I host DOTA often. With local (on the same network) people joining.
 
Are you sure the linksys354g router top allow me to host a internet game and allow the people on my local network to join behind the same router? Thorne what router do you have and are you running bridge moad or allowing the router to handle the connection. thank you for the replies, i can sleep better now, knowing there's a answer
 
Well im 99% sure. Iv hosted many dota games it with people on my network going my game.

The router is handling the connection.

EDIT:

The routers full model number is Linksys WAG354G
