Just dont. I've been testing this ruddy thing for the last 2 hours.

As soon as a torrent port is opened, everything *@#!$s up.

Ive done a smooth 200mb HTTP wise, open a torrent port and shazam, disconnections for the next 10mins.

Disconnections dont happen if you dont torrent. Maybe a neotel torrent killer system? I dont know. All I can seem to figure out is HTTP and FTP downloads work without a problem.

Moral of the story: Dont torrent. It makes getting a decent amount of anime quickly imposable, but hey, there is always realitylapse.

that is odd, i was with neotel for a long time and my torrents worked fine. and now i use it as a backup to my DSL and 2 weeks ago used it for 2 days after cable theft and my torrents were still fine? Not fast, but acceptable at around 60-80kbps

My torrents went well this morning as well. I called the helpdesk this morning to have my ports opened & they advised me it will be done on Monday. I'm on NeoGo.

You might want to configure a maximum number of connections as even on DSL if you have 800-1000 everything slows down

I've used torrents before and never had any problems, but having said that, torrents are just horrible on ANY network.

I use my internet solely for torrent

so don't tell me what should I do for my internet, but you should ask what neotel offered, if they tell me "we block torrent", I will switch to the other network. END OF STORY.

the problem is now neotel denied they block torrent and I found that "sometime" torrent is fine and "sometime" is not. I am very confusing ......
